Paul Kim Mackerer

May 5, 1953 - October 4, 2020

Paul Kim Mackerer, 69, of Fountain Hill, passed away after a brief journey with bladder cancer. He was the loving husband of Barry Pell. Born in Easton, he was the son of the late Paul and Estelle (Brush) Mackerer. Paul was a graduate of Wilson High Schools class of 1971. He went on to attend the New York School of Interior Design where he earned his bachelor's degree. Paul was an accomplished Interior Designer and Craftsman. His talented contemporary designs and builds served clients locally and also throughout the east coast. He also taught the History of Interior Design at Northampton Community College. Paul was an avid gardener and enjoyed spending time in his workshop.

SURVIVORS: In addition to his loving husband Barry, he will be remembered by his daughter Shauna Shubert and her husband Allen of Nazareth; sister Karen Shoemaker and her husband Reynold of Dunnellon, FL; grandchildren Dylan, Liam, Ava and Brynn; niece Hollie Lorenzo and niece Levonne Andrews. He was preceded in death by his nephews Ricky and Michael Dorshimer.

SERVICES: Calling Hours will be held from 4 P.M. to 6 P.M. on Friday, October 14, 2022 at the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden Street Bethlehem, PA 18018 with a Memorial Service to follow at 6 P.M. A memory tribute may be placed at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com.
