I got to work with Don on the fire department. He was a quiet hard working firefighter. He was a tremendous loss to the department.

I first met Dan when I was senior at Crestwood and he was on the city council here in Dearborn Heights. I have always known him to be a dedicated public servant. He will be greatly missed.
