Fees Policies

The school does not receive any grants from the government or non-government agencies. It is fully dependent on the fees paid by the parents and guardians for meeting its financial obligations. The fees are increased periodically to keep up with rising costs and salaries. At present fees are charged under the following heads: Tuition, Academic & Co-curricular, Development, Establishment, Library and Poor Students.

Laboratory and Computer fees apply to those who avail those facilities. The school charges these fees in twelve equal monthly instalments. No readmission or annual fee is charged. However, students are required to pay the registration and examinations fees as required by CBSE.

Fee Concession

The school is compassionate towards the students from families that suffer economic hardships. Deserving students may apply for fee concession/ scholarship to their previous year's class teacher in the prescribed form by April 15. The relevant Vice Principal forwards the application to the Principal with his/ her recommendation after checking the background and previous record of the applicants. As the funds available are limited, the neediest among the applicants will be considered. The student's academic proficiency, attitudes and behaviour are taken into account in arriving at the decision to grant concession. The Principal informs the applicant in writing if his/ her application for concession has been accepted.

Payment Modalities

School fees are to be paid in Axis Bank, Hazaribag Branch, quarterly before the 20th of the first month of the quarter (that is April, July, October and January). Parents who feel that they are unable to pay three months’ fee at a time may apply in writing to the relevant Vice Principal to be allowed to pay each month. Delayed payment will attract a fine of Rs 50/- per month. The fine accumulates at the same rate for each month’s due. Students having more than a month’s fee due may not be allowed to attend classes. Parents who anticipate difficulty in fee payment should write in the diaries of their children to seek permission from the Vice Principal for delayed payment. No deferment beyond two months will be granted. The fines mentioned before will be applicable even when permission is granted for delayed payment. The names of those having more than two months’ dues are liable to be removed from the rolls.

Axis Bank accepts school fees on weekdays 9:30 am – 3:30 pm and Saturdays 9:30 – 1:30 pm in cash or Axis Bank Cheque. The fees  payment should be accompanied with a clearly filled out paying slip. In order to avoid heavy rush it is advisable to pay early and not to wait till the last due date. The facility to pay the fees in any other bank stands withdrawn.
