I still work for Northrop Grumman - developing new EOIR systems - challenging work but very rewarding. Also, my wife Holly and I have been affiliated with Arlington Academy of Hope since its founding in 2004. We operate in one of the poorest regions of Uganda - a mountainous area near the Kenya border. AAH now operates two primary schools, two clinics, and performs outreach to thousands of students enrolled in struggling government schools. This year we helped launch our new high school (a full campus with dormitories for up to 1200 students). More about the new school can be seen on the website listed above. I have traveled to Uganda 8 times and people there are delightful and warmly welcome Americans. If you would like to be involved in anyway, please contact me!

Just happened to see your Uganda post - I know it's a year late - but want to congratulate your on your community outreach. As Paul said, it's important that those of off us who have the ability should give back as much as we can. Again, kudos!!

As a scientist, it's always a great day, but here's hoping that today is extra special. When you're up Guilford way, give us a shout-out :-)
