Nancy Hester (Nicholson)

Mona Eleanor Johnson was born 6 December 1941, to Ruth A. & Ervin F. Johnson, in Omaha, Douglas County, Nebraska.  Her social security card was issued in Nebraska.  She wed John Francis Randolph.
Mona died 17 July 1992. I could not find her obit, so I'm posting most of his obituary as it lists their children.


John F. Randolph, age 75, Honey Creek, Iowa,
passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2013, at Alegent Health Mercy Hospital in Council Bluffs. John was born September 19, 1937, in Council Bluffs, to John and Sarah (McGee) Randolph and graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School in 1955 and later from UNO. He served his country in the US Army from 1960-1962 and worked for the Union Pacific Railroad for over 35 years, retiring as Assistant Manager of Computer Operations. His passions included spending 32 summers at Kitchi Landing Resort in Black Duck, Minn., with his family and friends. John was a member of the Missouri Valley American Legion.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Mona E., in 1992; mother, Sarah and dad, Lon Korb; brother, Joe Randolph; sister, Judy Randolph Phipps; and brother-in-law, Charlie Sarle.

Survivors include his (their) children and spouses, Guy Randolph and Jean, of Omaha, Neb., Amy Churchill, of Honey Creek, Iowa, Kirk Randolph and Jenny, of Omaha; 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren; sister, Jennifer Sarle, of Winchester, Va; nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, 2 great great nieces.

Both are buried in Garner Cemetery in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
