Roger "Butch" Rogers, age 60; passed away in Phoenix on November 5th, 2001. 

Born in Los Angeles CA, only child to the marriage of Dr. Donald W Spiers (1914/1990) and Marjorie Ann Brock [Spiers, Rogers, McGrew] (1919/1989); adopted by his mother's second husband, John A Rogers, in Omaha Nebraska, and nicknamed 'Butch'; served in the US Armed Forces (Navy) during the Vietnam war; earned his BS Degree in Business Administration in Nebraska, and an Associates Degree in construction; worked in law enforcement in Oregon; married thrice (Barbara, Joyce, Cricket) and chose to have no children; traveled extensively around the US via various campers and motorhomes; served as a host at numerous southwest campgrounds.

While visiting friends in AZ, he became ill, and died suddenly, after heart bypass surgery in Phoenix.
