This wine cruise along the Douro River included an afternoon trip to see another town high in the hills of northern Portugal.  The town was Amarante, which is well known for its unique pastries that are key in twice a year festivals.  For the brave, google "Amarante Pastry."  Oh yes, maps.  The sighting today was the shown tin of cocoa powder in a pastry shop window.  Though from Italy, the tin was so mappy that I had to report this sighting.  The tin is from Torino, Italy.

(Webmaster Note:  I suspect the photo was taken while Sander lay horizontal after a long day of wine tasting.  He COULD have let me know that north is to the left, no?).
