2024-08-04 – New mailing list!
For the last 2 months the board has been experimenting with a new mailing list and at the last meeting we voted to switch over to the new list. No action is required on your part!
The new mailing list will be announcements@lpena.groups.io.
There are many, many reasons we want to switch over, but I wanted to give you a little warning so you don't worry about the welcome email when it arrives tomorrow.
In addition, there will be many sub-mailing lists that we are still working out. More details to come shortly!

Hi, everyone!
I (Chuck Vose, LPENA Director) believe that people in LPENA want to be deeply connected to their neighbors, but lack the means to do so. So I've made this short survey to find out what types of things you're interested in!
Based on the answers, I will focus on the most common interests and try to build tools that allow people to communicate, coordinate, and build deeper relationships with those around them!

WELCOME to the Lake Pasadena Estates Neighborhood Association website (shortcut website address Bit.ly/lpenastpete). It has been created, at no cost to you, to facilitate communication among our members: a central place for (1) posting announcements, (2) sending emails to all (or selected) members, and (3) sharing photos, good-neighbor stories, concerns, and messages to one another, either openly or privately. Membership to the website is based on addresses in the neighborhood (diligently and laboriously gleaned from the Pinellas County Tax Appraiser's website), with the owner or resident (if known) in parentheses. You can find all these addresses under the Neighbor Profiles link on the left-hand side of the screen. We set up the membership this way because residents come and go, but addresses are not likely to change. Each address can be listed only once, however, so be creative in listing all of your household residents within your address profile without changing the First Name (house number) or Last Name (street). Click on your address on the Profiles page and complete the profile as best you can, using the fields as I have described under the profile for Carol Gruszka. For assistance in getting set up, please send Carol an email at carol@prismeffects.com. We're glad to have you, and we will be in touch soon. If you know of neighbors who also want to join, please provide their house & street address, name, and email address and they will be sent an email invitation.
