GARY OSBORN OBITUARY

Gary Spencer Osborn
January 6, 1946 - April 8, 2023
Kennewick , Washington - Gary Spencer Osborn, 77, of Kennewick, WA passed away on April 8, 2023, after a long battle with cancer. He was born January 6, 1946, in Bemidji, MN. The family followed construction, so they lived in many different places but settled in Pasco, WA in 1959. Gary graduated from Pasco Highschool in 1964. Two years later he married his school sweetheart Anita Ernst and joined the Air Force. He spent one year in Alaska where he claims to have seen a "UFO." He finished his four years in South Carolina. He then came home and joined his brother Ted in running the family business, Pasco Auto Wrecking until he retired. He enjoyed driving across the US at least six times visiting many museums and the Corvette Factory. He was reunited with his high school friend Sharon Goldsmith and enjoyed her companionship on many trips until her unexpected death three years ago. Over the past 20 years he collected over 500 elephant figurines earning him the LFNTMAN license plate. He was a member of the YE Old Car Club and faithfully attended weekly breakfast gatherings. He traveled to hundreds of cars shows with longtime friend Denny Wellington. Gary is survived by his brother Ted (Lois), daughters Sara (Garick) in Seattle, Danielle in Florida, and his son Justin in Florida. He is preceded in death by his parents Theodore and Dorothy.
A Graveside Service will be held Friday, April 21, 2023, at the City View Cemetery at 2:30pm. Followed by a social gathering at Moose Lodge on Sylvester St.

So sorry to hear about Gary.  He helped me get a new door for my 1953 Studebaker back when we were in high school.  Condolences to his family.
