Moved to Seattle in 1965, Was a Welder at Lockheed shipyards for 2 yrs. Went to Todd's Shipyards, was there 18 yrs. I was a Welder Leadman Supervisor Instructor, of 1400 welders. Then left the shipyards with health problems, Went to work for the City of Seattle, Parks & Recreation, Was a Leadman of 10 people, took care of GreenLake, Gas Works Park and 12 other Parks. Sorry to leave early, was a great job. Retired. Moved to Arizona, been here for 5 years. Do I miss the Seattle weather. What are you nuts.
Staying busy here in Arizona, Joined the Metal Club, still weld from time to time, Sun City West Az. 55 yrs. and older, no children, only to visit Grandma. Nice. Am a Prospector, lookin for Gold, have actually found some,only in the winter. It's a little warm out there with the snakes. Have ATV 500 Polaris 4x4 to move around with. Here in Sun City West, your allowed to drive your golf cart on the streets, I use my ATV, and race the golf carts. Something to do. I miss my Friends in Seattle, and Pasco too. I especially miss My Friend Jerry Penny, we grew up together, our Dads worked together on the Railroad, NP Rails. I think of him often, As I do Richard Brown, Cousin Jay Hendler,and the rest of the mafia gang.
Still listen to Rock and Roll, every day. It's here to stay. Took a ship ride to the inside passage to Alaska, twice we liked it so well. Been to Mexico several times, not only driving but by ship also. Rode ATV's on the baha, swam with the dolfins. I swam with a 7 footer, I guess I should say he pulled me all over the place. Great fun.
Other than that, have a swimming pool in the back yard, that keeps me busy, and cool.
I guess the biggest problem I'm having is just trying to stay alive. The older I get the harder it gets. Am glad to see that a few people took it upon them selves to try to get us all back together for 1 more time, hopefully more than 1. Thats about it Folks. Hopefully see you all in 2014
