After graduating from Basic High School in Henderson, Nevada I went to work at Hoover Dam(secretarial work) for 3 1/2 years. I married Dennis Drake in l967 and had my first two beautiful children. Dennis was killed in an automobile accident in 1974. I remarried in 1975 to Alexander Weber and had my other two beautiful children. I returned to work in l988 in a totally different field--retail at Mervyns. In May 2001, Alex passed away from cancer. I retired December 24, 2008 when Mervyn's went into bankruptcy and closed all their stores. Since then I have been busy with my 7 wonderful grandchildren, ages 6 to 17. Even though I have been through a lot in my life I feel I have been blessed. My Mom is still alive at 87 and now living in Illinois, where she grew up. My father passed away in 1965. My sister, Janet, lives in Oregon.
