It has been 10 years since I've given an update. My how time goes by...so here goes... My husband Dave (Married 52 years) passed away in April, 2021, so I'm alone now. Therefore I bought myself a puppy to keep me company. Her name is Precious, and that she is! She's a maltipoo. I bought a 2nd home here in Mesquite, Nv. which my son & his wife live in & it's only 1 street over from where I live. He rents it from me. I'm lucky to have him close by & he takes good care of me when I need him. My daughter still lives in Portland, Or with her husband. She's now in real estate.
My hobbies are still art work & I admit I frequently like to go to local casino for entertainment & dining. I just got back from my family reunion, which we have annually. (Usually in Oregon). I also get together with my 3 sisters annually for a sisters retreat.
I love living in Mesquite. Yes, it gets pretty hot in the summer months, but people are friendly & there's virtually no crime or graffiti!
That's petty much sums it up. Hope to attend next year's 60th class reunion & see some old friends.
School Story:

I still get a smile on my face when I remember the "can-can" dance that 6 of us girls did at the talent show (I think in probably 1963) We even made our own can-can dresses, and, ofcourse, were a big hit!!
