VAW Annual Golf Tourney 2025

The 2025 edition of the tournament was held on March 1st.

Under blue skies and mild temperatures we had 20 golfers participate

The following were the results:

Prizes are limited to one per person. As the closest to the pin and longest putts categories

in both the mens and ladies only had one name on the card, we were unable to use the second

place person as the winner so we added another category.

Low gross for the ladies and men were first time winners

Ladies low gross winner with a score of 86 went to Susie Rasmussen

Low gross for men went to Steve Patton who shot 84

The competition was fierce in this category with Greg Thompson and Jim Nielsen both

shooting 85

Closest to the pin

Ladies closest to the pin went to Donna Patton who was 26' from the pin on number 4

Men's closest went to Neil Campbell who was 12' 8.5" from the pin on 2

Longest Putt

Susie Rasmussen's 18 foot 9 inch putt was the best on number 12

Neil Cambell's 12 foot 8 inch putt on 2 took the men's honors

The over 80 challenge

Chris Howells was this years winner with an 87

Most Honest Honors

Ladies honors went to Donna Patton

Men's honors went to Jim Blackburn

The category added was runner up to most Honest

Jan Schmidt took the Ladies Honors

Tom Yuzer was the men's winner
