- THE MEETING WAS CALLED TO ORDER BY HAYWARD AT 8:30 A.M.
- PROOF OF NOTICE OF MEETING ACKNOWLEDGED.
- MOVED BY BORGWARDT AND SECONDED BY BROWN TO APPROVE THE MINUTES FROM 3-20-19. MOTION PASSED.
- OWNERS CONCERNS: NONE
- THE TEASURER’S REPORT WILL BE WRITTEN AT THE END OF MARCH.
- MANAGER’S REPORT
- GURULE CONTACTED MESA WATER REGARDING ONE METER USAGE IN PHASE IV. SHE WAS TOLD THAT THE HOA SHOULD DO THE MONITORING. TODD AND BORGWARDT WILL LOOK INTO THIS. AZZ PLUMBING WILL BE ASKED ABOUT A FLOW METER TO CHECK ON USAGE. GOMEZ WILL BE ASKED ABOUT PHASE IV WATERING TO SEE IF ANY AREA IS BEING NEGLECTED.
- SRP CONTACT REGARDING FREE TREES: ROGER WILL CHECK WITH DAVID THIS THURSDAY. IT WAS NOTED THAT ALL OF OUR ASH TREES WILL HAVE PROBLEMS.
- ROOFING CONTRACTOR HAS BEEN CONTACTED REGARDING VARIOUS ISSUES.
- A NEW POOL HEATER FOR THE NORTH POOL WILL BE INSTALLED. THAT WILL COMPLETE A TOTAL OF 4 REPLACEMENTS FOR BOTH POOLS.
- #1030 REQUEST FOR A WHITE SCREEN DOOR DENIED. BRONZE OR BEIGE WHICH MUST BE APPROVED BY THE PROPERTY MANAGER ARE REQUIRED AS PER THE CC&R’S
- DENIED A REQUEST TO INSTALL A HOT TUB ON A PATIO IN PHASE IV.
- GURULE WILL ARRANGE FOR MONTHLY DRAWS THROUGH BILL PAY FOR VARIOUS ASSOCIATION BILLS.
- H. THE HOA OWNS ALL WIRES INTO BUILDINGS, NOT DIRECT TV OR COX. DIRECT TV NEVER INSTALLED NEW FEED WIRES AS REQUIRED BY CONTRACT.
- OLD BUSINESS
- FLOORING: 3 BIDS HAVE BEEN RECEIVED FOR $23,775, $17,950 AND $17,140. LARGER SAMPLES ARE BEING BROUGHT FOR US TO CHOOSE FROM. IT WAS MOVED BY BORGWARDT AND SECONDED BY MILLS TO APPROVE THE INSTALLATION OF NEW FLOORING IN THE CLUBHOUSE FOR EITHER $17,140 FROM DISCOUNT FLOORS, INC. OR $17,950 FROM JASON HEILBURN, PENDING REVIEW AND APPROVAL OF FLOORING SAMPLES BY THE BOARD. MOTION PASSED.
LEE HAIN WILL GET A PRICE FOR THE MOVING AND REPAIR OF THE POOL TABLES.
- MILLS WILL CONTACT REX HAMMARBACK IN #2024 FOR ASSISTANCE IN REVIEWING POSSIBLE CHANGES TO THE CC&R’S AND BYLAWS. IT WAS MOVED BY BROWN AND SECONDED BY BORGWARDT THAT, AFTER HAMMARBACK REVIEWS CHANGES TO THE CC&R’S, THEY WILL BE SENT TO OUR LEGAL FIRM FOR THEIR INPUT. MOTION PASSED
- NEW POOL SIGNS WILL NOT BE MADE AT THIS TIME.
- THE TWO BATHROOMS AND HALL RENOVATIONS IN THE CLUBHOUSE HAVE BEEN COMPLETED AND THE BILLS HAVE BEEN PAID.
- ROGER SPENCER, #25, WILL BE THE BOARD’S LIAISON WITH CLEAN CUT DURING THE IRRIGATION RENOVATION PROJECT BEGINNING IN MAY.
- NEW BUSINESS
- ONLY BBQ GRILLS WITHOUT FLAMES MAY BE USED ON BALCONIES.
- THE RULES AND REGULATIONS WERE UPDATED TO INCLUDE NEW ITEMS IN THE POOL/SPA SECTION AND A NEW SECTION ON BBQ GRILLS WHICH REFLECT THE FIRE DEPARTMENT SAFETY GUIDELINES.
- NORTH POOL RESURFACING MAY BE PART OF 2020 PROJECTS.
- BOARD MEETINGS FROM MAY THROUGH OCTOBER WILL BE HELD BY TELECONFERENCE ON THE SECOND TUESDAY OF THE MONTH AT 8:30 A.M. ARIZONA TIME AS NEEDED.
- FOR THE GOOD OF THE ORDER
- RESPONDING TO QUESTIONS BY JOAN HERMSEN, #2015, OF THE LANSCAPING COMMITTEE: CLEAN CUT TRIMS TREES, DAVID GOMEZ INDEPENDENTLY TRIMS OUR PALMS; SOME TREES HAVE BEEN TOPPED; TRIMMING IS DONE IN MAY; THE PREFERENCE IS FOR TREES, ETC. TO BE TRIMMED AWAY FROM WALLS.
- THE TREE IN THE PATIO OF #1034 WILL BE REMOVED. THE NEW OWNER AGREES.
- THE NEXT BOARD MEETING WILL BE MAY 14, 2019. A.M.
